The Best Interactive Dog Toys Information

We are happy to be able to provide you with information about these wonderful toys so that you can decide which one is best for your pet.

It's very important keep your pet active and engaged on a regular basis - and interactive dog toys are the perfect way to accomplish that. Fun and functional is the name of the game - and your pup will thank you!

It is a common misconception among a lot of pet owners that interactive dog toys are simply just another "toy" and aren't really necessary. Dogs are amazingly intelligent creatures and in order to keep them physically and mentally healthy, they need regular exercise and stimulation.

Interactive dog toys encourage good behavior.  Do you have a dog with a behavior problem? Did you know that many behavioral issues stem from a lack of exercise and stimulation? In many instances, a bored dog may become a destructive and sometimes aggressive dog. Digging, chewing, barking and aggressive tendencies are common "symptoms" of a bored dog. By ensuring that your pup has access to a variety of interactive dog toys will keep both of you happy - mentally and physically!

What is an interactive dog toy?  Well, they come in many shapes, types, sizes and colors in order to accommodate the needs of a wide range of pups. They are designed to challenge your dog's abilities with a mechanism or device that responds to your pup's actions, or one that requires your dog to "figure something out" such as a puzzle or retrieving a treat. These types of toys keep your dog busy for hours while at the same time, promote good health, agility and good behavior! Interactive dog toys are also excellent for the human/pet bonding experience - with "fetch" being the most popular.

What kinds of interactive dog toys are there?  These days, fetch is not simply limited to throwing a ball for your dog to bring back to you. "Chuck-its" assist you in being able to throw the ball further, with less effort, thus allowing for more exercise for your dog. "Wiggly Giggly" balls are like soccer balls for dogs, and because of the "giggly" noise it makes, your dog is very likely to throw and "kick" the ball around him/herself just to hear the noise. The giggly ball is my pup's favorite interactive dog toy and this keeps her busy for hours - without any assistance or interference from me! There are also toys which allow for your pup to find hidden treats by pushing, lifting, turning and other similar activities.

In regards to training, there are interactive dog toys available that assist with this - the most popular one being games of fetch with toy that has a "treat release" mechanism once your pup retrieves as instructed. Not only is this super fun for your dog, but you are providing much needed engagement, exercise and stimulation - as well as training!

Interactive dog toys stimulate, engage and entertain your dog which, in turn, perpetuates good behavior and training abilities and skills.
